1 1/2 cups Maida
1 cup Sugar ( granules )
1 tsp Baking Powder
3/4 tsp Baking Soda
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/4 tsp salt
Mix the above Dry Ingredients nicely with a whisk.
In the above Mix…add
1/3 cup oil
1 cup warm water ( not hot )
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Mix nicely but not too much.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 C for 30 −35 min
Mix will be runny but do not worry 🙂 it is like that only.
I have frosted my cake with Chocolate and cream.
It is called Crazy cake because
- It can be mixed in the tin and baked in the same.
- It has no egg.
- It uses water and lemon mix which is very unusual.
- It is ready to be baked in a jiffy 🙂
