Ingredients ready to be mixed: 21/2 cups of Maida, 200 gms unsalted butter (cut into pcs and refrigerated), ice cold water with 1 tsp vinegar, put one spoon at a time.
- Mixed for 5-10 sec not too much till looks like crumbs
Dough starts to clump
Mixture on the slab
Cut into two to make two pie crusts
on a plastic sheet ready to go in fridge to sit for 1hr
In preheated to 180C oven for baking for 20 min
All ingredients ready to be assembled, Prebaked quiche crust topper with torn cheese slice .
first goes cheese, then prepared filling, ( you can put more spinach) ( can add chicken too )
add2/3 cup milk,1/2 cup cream and 3 eggs mixed together on top of filling
- Baked for 25 min at 180 C,Quiche Ready …and a portion eaten too 🙂
