1 tbspn butter
1 tbsp wheat flour or maida
1 cup milk
1/2 cream (optional)
1/2 cup cooked spinach ( steamed or sautéed)
1/4 cup mushroom ( can add Sausages too )
Cheese 1/2 cup or less as you like.
Break the eggs in a bowl and beat them thoroughly.
In a heated wok add butter and quickly add flour. Mix them using a whisk. ( a trick not to get lumps in your white sauce taught to me by a friend…great baker herself ). Add milk and cream and continue mixing with the whisk.
Let the mix cool and then add eggs. Add spinach, mushroom and sausages. No fixed quantity it all depends on your taste. You can avoid sausages if you want. You can add precooked chicken pcs if you like so.
Pour this mix in 6 Ramekins.
Sprinkle cheese on top . Bake for 15 −20 minutes till egg rises and cheese is little brown on top.
Serve with Garlic Bread or plain toast.
Can be had as breakfast ,lunch or dinner.
I always serve Knorr hot and sour soup with this. Yumm 🙂
