Caramel Custard!! :)


Ingredients– 

  • 250 ml milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla essence 
  • 3 tablespoon sugar
  • +3 more table spoon sugur

Method:-

  • In a non stick pan take 3 tablespoon of sugar and 1 teaspoon of water to make caramel. Pour the caramel in the mold in which you want to make the caramel custard and set aside IMG_3191
  • Take 250 ml full cream milk in a pan and add 3 or 2 tablespoon of sugar and bring it to boil 
  • Switch off the gas after the milk mixture boils 
  • In the rice cooker pour two glasses of water and switch it on so that steam is formed inside the utensil
  • Beat three eggs in a LARGE bowl,add vanilla essence then add still warm milk mixture slowly in the egg mixture

  • Pour the prepared mixture in the mold in which the caramel would have Cooled and settled. I have used my heart ❤ shaped cake tin as a mold
  • Place the mold in the rice cooker on a stand and steam the custard for 25 minutes.
  • DE MOLD THE CARAMEL CUSTARD AFTER IT HAS COOLED DOWN IN THE FRIDGE FOR SOMETIME 😀IMG_3196
