image

  • 2 cups Maida
  • 1 tsp baking Powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2/3 cup granulated white sugar
  • 2/3 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 egg yolk of large egg
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1-2 cups semi sweet choco chips

This recipe is from joyofbaking.com

I have put 1 large egg and a small egg here, used brown sugar instead of light brown sugur and since i fell short of 2 cuos flour ;o I used corn flour around 1/4th cup instead of maida and toped it to make 2 cups of flour 🙂

Cream Butter and sugars together and mix eggs in this batter then goes 1 tsp vanilla essence and finally flour and choco chips. put the batter in refrigerator for about 15 to 20 mins as it will make it easy to form small rounds 🙂 I baked my cookies in my panasonic microwave oblique convection at 180 C for 10 mins and found that they were chewy. When i baked for 1 batch I baked for 12 mins and they turned out to be crispy.

Bettycrocker.com  has a recipe too but with wheat flour and i will be trying them next 😉

Their recipe is as below

  • 3/4th cup granulated white sugar
  • 3/4th cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups wheat flour
  • 1 tsp of baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 12 oz choco chips

Allrecipes.com has an amazing recipe which calls for……………
