- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1 tbsp water
- 1/4 cup hot water
i used my non stick deep pan for making caramel here. White granulated sugar mixed with 1 table spoon of water put on medium flame .
Preparing caramel syrup requires sugar water and patience . So we wait for sugar to melt then change colour . I did not stir even once but swirled the pan 2-3 times . You can see in pictures that starts changing colour on sides and gradually the whole solution becomes nice golden to brown syrup. Add hot water slowly and stir taking care that it bubbles with fury !
